Here’s one that came in a Zenpop.jp box – use coupon code THERAMENRATER for a groovy discount!

Here’s what they had to say about it – ‘The second cup that we got you in this Pokémon series has an Onion Consommé (オニオンコンソメ) flavor. Although the noodles are the same as in the previous cup, the overall experience is very different. Instead of Pikachu, you will find Eevee as the main Pokémon on the packaging. This cup combines the umami of chicken together with the sweetness of onions. It’s lighter and less creamy, but just as rich in flavors. On the topping side, you’ll find cabbage, minced meat, onion, and carrot. Don’t forget to keep the sticker to grow your collection!’

This one sounds pretty good – usually these aren’t altogether to my liking, but I’m optimistic. Let’s find out!

A sticker (click to enlarge). I think this is a Piplup? Apparently in Japan they’re known as Pochama.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, shichimi, sesame seed, spring onion, mung bean sprout, and egg. Noodle wasn’t great after the three minutes directed, however after a few more it wasn’t as bad. The broth was an onion consomme; it was alright, actually pretty good. It was augmented with vegetables – carrot was nice, and meat bits. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901734048411.
